A nice thing about working in many mediums is the freedom to express ideas and explore different aspects of art. It also provides more alternative perspectives when responding to a request for a commissioned work of art.

Three copies painted after my favorite figurative painter, William A. Bouguereau. The first, “At the Fountain”, hung in the public library where I grew up in Evanston, Il. I used to stare at it in awe as a child. In 1996 I stood next to it to paint this copy, not realizing one year later the library would sell the original for $900,000! Second: ” The Newborn Lamb” Third: “The Grape Picker”

“The Kimono” ……..”M. & B. Booth” …….. “I Am Here for You” (in progress)

“What I Have Been Waiting to Tell You”………”Adam’s Research”…………..”Taking Soil Samples”

“Unlocking the Mysteries of Creation”…”Athena, Defender of Truth”…Copy of Bouguereau’s “Young Woman Defending Herself Against Eros”
“Allegro” , oil 24″ x 36″……………………………………………..”Dancing in the Light”, pastel 42″ x 72″
